Authority Public Path Notice Part Of Footpath 534006, Watermill, Ings -Hugill Parish Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order 2022

NOTICE IS GIVEN that under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Lake District National Park Authority has made an order dated 12 July 2022. The effect of the order is to prohibit all public traffic for all purposes from proceeding over Footpath 534006 at Watermill, Ings, Hugill Parish from the bridge in the pub
car park at SD 4454 9866 south-eastwards to the road at SD 4457 9862, because of danger to the public from a collapsing revetment. The order will take effect on 12 July 2022 and will continue in force for six months. If repair works to make the path safe to use have not been completed by then it may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.
