Mill Street, Temporary Road Closure

Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: A44, Mill Street, Leominster, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the A44, Mill Street, Leominster, Leominster level crossing. Grid Ref: 350015/259499. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via A44 onto Leominster Bypass onto the Worcester Road C1105 onto Southern Avenue onto the B4361 onto the A44 and vice versa. The said closure is required due to flail works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th of August 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
