Notice Of Confirmation Of An Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981 Worcestershire County Council Diversion Of Footpaths Hr-528 (Part) (Formerly Path 15), Hr-529 (Formerly Path 15) And Hr-532 (Part) (Formerly Path 17) In The Parish Of Hartlebury Public Path Diversion And Definitive Map Modification Order 2022

On 5th of July 2022, Worcestershire County Council confirmed the above order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53A (2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert footpaths:
HR-528 from: a line running from: a pedestrian gate at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SO 8462 7015. The footpath proceeds in a southerly direction, through paddocks and garden, for 129 metres to a junction with footpaths HR-529 and HR-532 at OSGR SO 8464 7002. To: a line running from a pedestrian gate at OSGR SO 8462 7015. The footpath proceeds in a south easterly direction for 34 metres to pedestrian gate at OSGR SO
8463 7012. The path continues in a southerly direction for 47 metres to pedestrian gate at OSGR SO 8464 7007. After continuing in a generally southerly direction, for 26 metres, the path meets a junction with footpaths HR-529 and HR-532 at OSGR SO 8464 7005. HR-529 From: a line running from a junction with footpaths HR-528 and HR-532 at OSGR SO 8464 7002. The footpath proceeds in a southerly direction for 42 metres to terminate on Manor Lane (County Road No. U40011) at OSGR SO 8464 6998. To: a line running from

a junction with footpaths HR-528 and HR-532 at OSGR SO 8464 7005. The path proceeds in a generally southerly direction for 69 metres, through a field gate and gap, to terminate on Manor Lane (County Road No. U40011) at OSGR SO 8465 6998. HR-532 From: a line running from a junction with footpaths HR-528 and HR-529 at OSGR SO
8464 7002. The footpath proceeds in a north easterly direction for 26 metres to OSGR SO

8465 7005. To: a line running from a junction with footpaths HR-528 and HR-529 at OSGR SO 8464 7005. It proceeds in an easterly direction for 3 metres where it re-joins the pre-existing route at OSGR SO 8465 7005.

The order comes into force as from 5th of July 2022 but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act, has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 21st of July 2022 make an application to the High Court.
