Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U71610, Newtown Lane, Little Birch, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71610, Newtown Lane, Little Birch, outside 'Newton Cottage'. Grid Ref: 350943/232125. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Pendant Pitch onto Castle Nibole Road, onto Barrack Hill, onto Little Birch Road, onto Mesne Lane and vice versa. The said closure is required due to new connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 3rd of August 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
