The A19 Trunk Road (Moor Farm To Killingworth Interchange)
(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the A19 Trunk Road, in the County of Northumberland, to enable electrical works to be carried out in safety. The works are expected to start on Monday 25 July 2022 for 1 night, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am. The effect of the Order will be to close, the A19:
(i) southbound carriageway from the exit slip road at Moor Farm to the entry slip road at Killingworth Interchange; and

(ii) southbound exit slip road at Killingworth Interchange;

during which times suitably signed alternative
routes will be available. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibitions (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes). The Order comes into force on 24 July 2022 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The A66 Trunk Road (Blands Corner To Morton Palms)
(Temporary Restriction And Prohibition Of Traffic)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the A66 Trunk Road, in County Durham, because of likelihood of danger to the public. The Order comes into force at 13:00 hours on Saturday 13 August 2022 and will end at
23:59 hours on Saturday 13 August 2022.
The effect of the Order will be, to:
(i) impose a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the A66 eastbound and westbound carriageways from 500 metres east of Neasham Road Roundabout

to 500 metres west of Neasham Road Roundabout, a distance of 1000 metres;
(ii) close the laybys situated adjacent to the A66 eastbound and westbound carriageways between Blands Corner Roundabout and Morton Palms Roundabout; and

(iii) prohibit vehicles stopping on the verge adjacent to the A66 over the same length as described at (i) above.

The temporary mandatory speed restriction, layby closures and stopping prohibition will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the period of danger.
The restrictions will not apply to emergency
service or special forces vehicles.
