ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED BY THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1985 AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
COLDHARBOUR LANE. PURLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to upgrade an electricity sub-station and mains cable on behalf of UKPN, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to restrict pedestrian traffic In Coldharbour Lane.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Coldharbour Lane will be closed between Its junction with Hlghfleld Road and the rear of No. 48 Russell Green Close.
3. During the closure the alternative route for pedestrians will be via Highfield Road, the unnamed bridleway (accessed from Highfield Road via an entrance to the rear of No. 45 Highfield Road), Russell Hill and Coldharbour Lane.
4. The Order will come into operation on 25 July 2022 and it is expected that the works will be completed on 25 August 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of six months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any person or vehicle accessing the footpath for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(b) any person or vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

DALEGARTH GARDENS. PURLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic in Dalegarth Gardens.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Dalegarth Gardens will be closed at its junction with Mitchley Avenue.
3. During the closure the alternative route for traffic will be via Mitchley Avenue and Ingleboro Drive and vice versa.
4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(b) any vehicle carrying out the said works.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
5. The Order will come into operation on 23 July 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 04 September 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be re-introduced if further works are required.

FOOTPATH NO. 46 BETWEEN MEAD WAY AND BRADMORE WAY. COULSDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new Virgin Media cabinet, they have made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian movements on Footpath No. 46.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall proceed along Public Footpath No.46 adjacent to No. 129 Mead Way.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for pedestrians will be via a Mead Way, Tollers Lane, Bradmore Way, and reversed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 25 July 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 6 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. Nothing in this Order shall apply to anyone carrying out the said works, or to anything done for police, ambulance, or fire brigade purposes or with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer.

HOWDEN ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas service alteration and installation works in South Norwood Hill, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Howden Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Howden Road will be closed at its junction with South Norwood Hill.
b) One-way working in Howden Road will be suspended to allow two-way traffic.
3. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route for traffic will be via Howden Road, Auckland Road, Woodvale Avenue and South Norwood Hill, or via Howden Road, Auckland Road, Cypress Road and South Norwood Hill, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 25 July 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within eight days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required (subject to approval for alternative diversion routes during school term-time in order to avoid the school pedestrian zone restrictions in Cypress Road). The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

MALLING CLOSE. CROYDON & MONTPELIER ROAD. PURLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate carriageway re-surfacing works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic in Mailing Close, Croydon, and Montpelier Road, Purley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
(i) Mailing Close will be closed at its junction with Stockbury Road.
(ii) Montpelier Road will be closed between its junction with Biddulph Road and the south-western boundary of No. 66 Montpelier Road, and at its junction with Kingsdown Avenue.
3. During the closure of Montpelier Road the alternative route for traffic will be via Biddulph Road, Brighton Road, Christchurch Road, Pampisford Road, Edgehill Road and Kingsdown Avenue, as appropriately signed. Marshals will supervise the closure.
4. The Order will come into operation on 26 July 2022, and it is anticipated that the works in both locations will be completed within one day, as detailed below. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced if further works are necessary.
- Montpelier Road - 26 July 2022
- Mailing Close - 27July 2022
5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works,
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

NORBURY COURT ROAD. NORBURY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate installation works for a new gas service they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Norbury Court Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Norbury Court Road will be closed and parking will be suspended between the common boundaries of Nos. 126 and 128 and Nos. 132 and 134 Norbury Court Road.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the diversion route for vehicles will be via Pollards Wood Road, Ena Road and Elgar Avenue and reversed, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 25 July 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate service pipe repair works they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic in Crossland Road, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Crossland Road will be closed at its junction with London Road.
3. The Order will come into operation on 08 August 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) Any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) Any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

NORBURY CRESCENT. NORBURY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacement works they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Norbury Crescent.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place: -
a) Norbury Crescent will be closed outside No. 30.
b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time both outside and opposite Nos. 83 and 85 Norbury Crescent and outside No. 30 Norbury Crescent.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the diversion route for vehicles will be via St Helens Road, London Road, Craignish Avenue, Dunbar Avenue, Norbury Crescent and reversed, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 10 August 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
