Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(A451 Minster Road - Slip Road for Household Recycling Centre, Stourport) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 2022

On 7 July 2022 Worcestershire County Council made an Order giving permanent effect to an Experimental Order made on 11 November 2021 the effect of which will be to prohibit driving on the following length of road in Stourport: -A451 Minster Road-Slip Road for Household Recycling Centre for its entire length. The Order will come into operation on 28 July 2022.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(A456 Birmingham Road, Kidderminster) (40 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2022

On 7 July 2022 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to implement the speed limit on the following length of road in Kidderminster to 40 miles per hour: A456 Birmingham Road From a point immediately west of its junction with Adams Court/The Oaklands, eastwards to a point 240m east of its junction with Husum Way.
There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 28 July 2022.

Order made: to close that part of A4535 Summer Place and U12169 Blakebrook from its junction with A456 Bewdley Road to its junction with U12206 St Johns Avenue. Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A456 Bewdley Road, A442 Proud Cross Ringway, A4535 Mason Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 nights (20:00-05:30) Commencing: 25 July 2022.

(U10007 Bine Lane, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of U10007 Bine Lane from its junction with C2021
Heightington Road to its junction with U10008 Orchard Close.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by Matthews Construction.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2021 Heightington Road, U10009 Bine Lane, U10007 Bine Lane
and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing:
25 July 2022.

(A442 Droitwich Road, Hartlebury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of A442 Droitwich Road from its junction with U13612 Well Lane to its junction with A450 Worcester Road. Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: CAR DIVERSION: A442 Droitwich Road, A442 Rushock to Cutnall Green, A442 Kidderminster Road, A38 Roman Way, A4133 Ombersley Road, A4133 Droitwich Road, A4133 Main Road, A449 Main Road, A449 Sychampton to Mitre Oak, A449 Mitre Oak to Crown Lane, A449 Waresley to Torton, A449 Worcester Road, A450 Worcester Road and vice versa. HGV DIVERSION: A442 Droitwich Road, A442 Rushock to Cutnall Green, A442 Kidderminster Road, A38 Roman Way, A4133 Ombersley Road, A4133 Droitwich Road, A4133 Main Road, A449 Main Road, A449 Sychampton to Mitre Oak, A449 Mitre Oak to Crown Lane, A449 Waresley to Torton, A449 Worcester Road, A442 Droitwich Road and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 nights (20:00-05:00) Commencing: 15 August 2022.

(B4549 Sutton Park Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of B4549 Sutton Park Road from its junction with A451 Stourport Road to its junction with U12100 Connaught Avenue. Reason: Installation of new pedestrian refuge by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A451 Stourport Road, A4535 Sutton Road, A456 Bewdley Hill, B4549 Sutton Park Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing:
15 August 2022.
