(Albert Road back/Ash Street, Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 15/7/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 30 metres of Albert Road back between numbers 1 to 7 and 40 metres of Ash Street (rear numbers 1-7 Berry Edge Road), Consett to enable new telecom duct and cable installation works to be undertaken. Alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic locally via Berry Edge Road and Edith Street. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 25/7/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 9 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
