Notice Of Making An Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981 Diversion Of Footpaths Ch-520 (Part) (Formerly Footpath 11) In The Parish Of Cofton Hackett, And Bg-500 (Part) (Formerly Footpath 21) In The Parish Of Barnt Green, And Extinguishment Of Accrued Rights Public Path Diversion And Definitive Map Modification Order 2022
The above Order, made on 22 March 2022, under Sections 119A and 118 of the Highways Act 1980, and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpath, and modify the definitive map and statement for Worcestershire accordingly:
CH-520 (part) from Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SP 0113 7471; the path heads in a south by easterly direction for 87 metres to terminate at OSGR SP 0114 7463, to a line running from a kissing gate at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SP 0113 7471; the path proceeds in a south by westerly direction along a fenced boundary below the railway line for 75 metres to a kissing gate at the steps of the railway footbridge over the railway line at OSGR SP 0111 7464. The path then continues up the footbridge steps in a south by westerly direction for 22 metres and turns in an east-southeasterly direction for 9 metres to terminate part way across the deck of the footbridge at the Barnt Green parish boundary at OSGR SP 0111 7461, as shown on the order plan. (OSGR) SP 0114 7463; the path heads in a south by
easterly direction for 8 metres to terminate at OSGR SP 0114 7462, to a line running from the Cofton Hackett parish boundary, partway across the deck of
the railway footbridge, at OSGR SP 0111 7461; the path
proceeds in an east-southeasterly direction for 13 metres, turning northnortheasterly down the steps of the railway footbridge for 17 metres, then east-southeasterly continuing down the steps and along level ground for 10 metres to a kissing gate at OSGR SP 0114 7462. Continuing for a further 4 metres to terminate at OSGR SP 0114 7462, where it continues as the remainder of BG-500, as shown on the order plan.
EXTINGUISHMENT OF FOOTPATH IN THE PARISH OF COFTON HACKETT The length and entire width of
that footpath in the parish of Cofton Hackett to be extinguished commences at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SP 0113 7471. Proceeding in an east south-easterly direction for 47 metres crossing the railway line to OSGR SP 0117 7469, then in a south southwesterly direction for 70 metres where it terminates at the Barnt Green parish boundary at OSGR SP 0114 7463, as shown on the order plan.
EXTINGUISHMENT OF FOOTPATH IN THE PARISH OF BARNT GREEN The length and entire width of that
footpath in the parish of Barnt Green to be extinguished commences at the parish boundary with Cofton Hackett at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SP 0114 7463. Proceeding in a south south-westerly direction for 10 metres to OSGR SP 0114 7462, where it terminates at its junction with Barnt Green footpath BG-500, as shown on the order plan. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the County Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order.
