Somerset County Council District of Sedgemoor Parish of Mark Temporary Closure of The Causeway

Somerset County Council In exercise of Its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along The Causeway - from the junction with Poplar Lane, eastwards for a total distance of 1230 metres. This Order will enable Luxton Engineering to carry installation of telemetry ducting and pillars works on behalf of Wessex Water. The Order becomes effective on 2nd August 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 10th August 2022 and last until 31st August 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 22 days.
