Darlington Borough Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Temporary Road Closure) 2022 Barton Street, Darlington

Darlington Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

Barton Street

From a point 7metres north of the south side of Allan Street junction northwards for 5metres
An alternative route will be signed via Allan Street, ?odsworth Street and vice versa. The Order is necessary to allow works to renew a gas main.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure
under this Order is 18 months commencing from
1 st August 2022, it is anticipated that the closure
will be effective for 7 days.
