Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Pedestrian Crossing - B3108 Winsley Road, Bradford On Avon

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to change the status of the existing Pelican Crossing in B3108 Winsley Road, Bradford on Avon to become a "PUFFIN" (Pedestrian User-Friendly Intelligent) Crossing, a form of traffic signal-controlled crossing and extend the existing zig zag markings and relocate as follows: a) Northern side of carriageway - centre of the crossing is at a point approximately 35 metres east of its junction with Churches. The controlled zone will be a distance of approximately 10 metres either side of the centre of the crossing; b) Southern side of carriageway - centre of the crossing is at a point approximately 35 metres east of its junction with Churches. The controlled zone will be a distance of approximately 36 metres east of the centre of the crossing and 10 metres in a westerly direction. Section 14(1) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Mons Lane (Part), Lacock; from its junction with A350 for a distance of approximately 55m in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out repair service and associated works. Alternative route via Mons Lane (unaffected length) - C150 -A350 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 18 July 2022 and the closure will be required for 2 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600. B) C220 (Part), Melksham Without; for a distance of approximately 100m either side of the railway bridge to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out bridge repairs and associated works. Alternative route via B220 (unaffected length) - B3353 - A365 - A350 - C220 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 August 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 23:59 until 19 August 2022. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
