NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U70707, Old Gloucester Road, Ross-On-Wye, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70707, Old Gloucester Road, Ross-On-Wye, from the junction of High Street to outside N.o 6 Old Gloucester Road. Grid Ref: 359966 / 224034. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Copse Cross Street onto Alton Street onto Chase Road.

The said closure is required due to fibre installation
works and the likelihood of danger to the public
while the works are taking place. The said closure
will come into force on 25th of July 2022
and remain in force for a maximum period of
18 months (unless extended with the consent of the
Secretary of State) but the works are expected to
be completed within 2 days (0800hrs - 1700hrs).
