Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Chat Hill Road, Thornton Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works proposed to be executed on or near Chat Hill Road, Thornton intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Chat Hill Road from its junction with Low Lane to its junction with Ox Hey Meadows.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Chat Hill Road (unaffected section), Thornton Road, Brighouse and Denholme Road, Albert Road, Sand Beds, Scarlet Heights, Calder Banks, Highgate Road, Baldwin Lane, The Avenue, Town End Road, Low Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 25th July 2022 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 5th August 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 14th day of July 2022.
