Notice of Application for Premises Licence Variation


Twelve Burger & Beer hereby make application to vary Premises Licence in respect of Twelve Burger & Beer located 12 Clifftown Road, Southend on Sea, SS1 1AB.
The relevant licensable activities which proposed on are as follows:
Extension to hours for supply of alcohol to: from midnight to 1am on Friday, Saturday. Provision of regulated entertainment and playing recorded music from Midnight to 1am on Friday and Saturday, alteration to licensed areas of the premises including the following:
The proposed variation seek to achieve the following
(a) make amendments to the footprint of the existing licensed area on the current premises floor plan.
(b) Omit all sections of the licensed first floor areas on the existing floor plan.
(c) Add bar/servery area on ground floor as part of the licensed area as shown on plan referenced L-104/01.
(d) Add the rear storage area as part of the licensed area shown on plan referenced L-104/01
(e) Add the basement kitchen as part of the licensed area shown on plan referenced L-104/01.
(f) The proposed variation is also seeking to extend licenced hours for sale of alcohol to, from Midnight to 3am.
(g) Remove licensing conditions in Annex 2; conditions 1 and 2 on the existing premises
(i) proposal to supply alcohol off premises.

Interested parties and responsible authorities may make representations to the Licensing Authority (Southend-on-Sea Borough Council) All such representations shall be made in writing, by 15 August 2022. Representations should be sent to Licensing Authority, Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, Civic Centre (Floor 13), Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, Essex SS2 6ZG or emailed to licact2003@southend.gov.uk . A record of the application, and the statutory register of the Licensing Authority, may be inspected at the Council's office address given above, between 10.00am and 4.00pm on Mondays to Fridays. Or viewed on the Council website www.southend.gov.uk .
It is offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application, and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction is level 5 on the standard scale.
