Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Public Footpath no. 75 (Bradford South), Bierley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is satisfied pedestrians on or near Public Footpath No. 75 (Bradford South), Bierley should be restricted or prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Public Footpath No. 75 (Bradford South) from its junction with Shetcliffe Lane to its junction with Footpath No. 73 (Bradford South).

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to pedestrians connected with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Alternative routes for pedestrian traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Footpath No. 73 (Bradford South), Spen View Lane, Shetcliffe Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 09:00 hours on the 27th July 2022 and will remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 31st August 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to six months if necessary). DATED this 14th day of July 2022.
