Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Bradshaw Ln, Thelwall (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Bradshaw Ln from its jct. with Ollerton Cl to its jct. with Springfield Ave. The Order will be effective from 1st August 2022, for 12 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Thelwall New Rd, Knutsford Old Rd, Knutsford Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Cadent Gas to install new mains within the carriageway. Ref: HIGH/2353
Cromwell Ave (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Cromwell Ave from its jct. with Cavendish Cl to its jct. with Twenty Acre Rd. The Order will be effective from 8pm on 1st August 2022 to 6am on 2nd August 2022, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Old Hall Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Vodafone to install a new telecom pole. Ref: HIGH/2352

Northwich Rd & Adj St's (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Northwich Rd from its jct. with the roundabout at M56 to the Borough Boundary; From Northwich Rd for 25m along the following lengths of road: Summit Cl; Hall Ln; Well Ln; Common Ln; Stockley Ln. The Order will be effective from 22nd August 2022 for 8 weeks, between 7pm & 1am, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via A49 Tarporley Rd, A533 Runcorn Rd, A533 Winnington Ln, A533 Winnington St, A533 Bull Ring, A533 Watling St, A559 Chester Way & A559 Manchester Rd or via A559 Manchester

A533 Winnington Ln, A533 Runcorn Rd & A49 Tarporley Rd. The restrictions are required for carriageway resurfacing. Ref: High/2354

Various St's, Footways Maintenance (Clearway) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a clearway on the following footways: Liverpool Rd from A57 Sankey Way/Liverpool Rd to No. 202 Liverpool Rd; Field Ln from Windmill Ln to No. 12 Field Ln. The Order will be effective from 29th August 2022 for 8 weeks, between 8am & 6pm, as & when signed on site, though works are only anticipated to take 3 or 4 weeks at each location. The restrictions are required for footway surfacing. Ref: HIGH/2355

Church Ln, Grappenhall (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) (Summer) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway on Church Ln from its jct. with Broad Ln to its jct. with Glebe Ave. The Order will be effective from 25th July 2022 for 6 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Church Ln, A56 Chester Rd, A50 Knutsford Rd, Bellhouse Ln & vice versa or via Broad Ln, Grappenhall Ln, A50 Cliff Ln, A50 Knutsford Rd, Bellhouse Ln & vice versa. The restrictions are required to allow continuing works to Heritage Area reconstructing & relaying cobbled road surface, including work to improve drainage. Ref: HIGH/2303

Padgate Ln (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Padgate Ln (northeast bound traffic) from its jct. with Orford Rd to its jct. with Davenham Ave. The Order will be effective from 31st July 2022 for 1 day, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Orford Rd, Birchwood Way & Blackbrook Ave. The closure is required to allow for United Utilities to install a new water connection. Ref: HIGH/2348

Appleton Footpath No. 20 (Footpath Closure) Temporary Order 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Council made the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 27th January 2022. The effect of which was to introduce a footpath closure on Appleton Footpath No. 20 from its jct. with Green Ln to its jct. with Cann Ln South. The Order was to be effective from 31st January 2022 for 6 months, however due to the nature of the closure the Secretary of State has granted permission for an extension of a further 6 month period to 31st January 2023, or such lesser period as determined by the earlier completion of the works. The closure will be in place when signed on site. The closure is required to allow for the construction of a new housing development. Ref: HIGH/2288

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
