Badnage Lane, Temporary Road Closure

Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U73000, Badnage Lane, Tillington, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U73000, Badnage Lane, Tillington, from Woodfields Farm to Hildor House. Grid Ref: 345809/246276. The alternative route For those affected by the proposal is via Badnage Lane onto the C1095, onto the C1099, onto Badnage Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to cabling and tree cutting works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 11th of August 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
