Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1172, Beggars Ash, Wellington Heath, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1172, Beggars Ash, Wellington Heath, from the junction with Bromyard Road to the junction with Ledbury Road. Grid Ref: 370944/239347. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Ledbury Road onto Church Lane, onto Hollow Lane, onto Bromyard Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to trial holes works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 8th of August 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
