NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1044, Green Lane, Bircher, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1044, Green Lane, Bircher, from the junction of the B4362 to the junction of Croft Crescent. Grid Ref: 346284/265365. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4362 onto the C1039, onto Green Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new service connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th of July 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
