Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1234 From Bagwyllydiart To Pontrilas Court, Pontrilas, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1234 From Bagwyllydiart To Pontrilas Court, Pontrilas, approximately 360 metres from 'Cross Lyde Farm'. Grid Reft 342570/227740. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Llanithog Road onto the C1239, onto the B4347 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 9th of August 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
