(Mill Farm Road, Hamsterley Mill, Rowlands Gill) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 40 metre length of Mill Farm Road adjacent to Aysgarth, No.2 Mill Farm Road to enable Northumbrian Water sewer repair works to be undertaken. An alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic from the north side of the closure, south west on the A694 Lintzford Road, then east on the B6310, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence at 8am on 1/8/2022 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 Days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
