(Picktree Terrace (Road leading to Picktree Court) Chester-Le-Street) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 7/7/2022 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 10 metre length of Picktree Terrace that extends south eastwards from its junction with Picktree Lane, Chester le Street to enable gas main renewal works to be undertaken. An alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic from the northern side of the closure from Picktree Lane south westerly and turning south easterly onto Hopgarth Gardens and north easterly on Picktree Cottages East to Picktree Terrace and Picktree Court to the southern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 18/7/2022 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
