Northumberland County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14(1) Parish Of Hexhamshire Byways Open To All Traffic Numbers 72 & 99 And Restricted Byway Number 95 (Temporary Traffic Closure) Extension Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State has agreed to further extend the closure of Parish of Hexhamshire Byways Open to All Traffic Nos 72 & 99 and Restricted Byway No 95, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:-
From a point on the C278 road north of Rawgreen in a general south-easterly direction for a distance of 785 metres to a point on the U8065 road at the junction with Public Bridleway No 57.
The closure is for motor vehicles and horse drawn vehicles, only. There is no alternative route available.
The Order which came into force on the 18* January 2021 and which would have expired on the 18'" July 2022 will continue to be in force until the 18" July 2023 or until completion of the works whichever is the earlier.
The extension has been requested in the interests of public safety due to the continued likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road.
