(The Crescent, Sherburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 7/7/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 40 metres of The Crescent between house numbers 64 and 68 and 4 Mill Lane, Sherburn to enable electric cable renewal works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the eastern side of the closure from Mill Lane southerly and turning westerly then north westerly into The Crescent to the western side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 18/7/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 3 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
