The County Of Cumbria (Footpath No.536235 In The Parish Of Kendal) (Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians) Order 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Cumbria County Council on 28 January 2020, which became operative on 3 February 2020, to enable Haig Architects Limited to carry out structural stabilisation and other works to "The Old Snuff Works" adjacent to the footpath ("the Works") and which would otherwise expire on 2 August 2022 : has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 2 August 2023.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along a 40m section of Footpath No.536235, Tanners Yard, in the Parish of Kendal between Gulfs Road and Grid Ref: 351575 492607.
A suitable alternative route for pedestrians will be available via the unrestricted section of Footpath No.536235 and Footpath No.536234 (Yard 43).
