Holtwhites Hill, EN2 -Temporary Restriction Of Traffic

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential utility works on Holtwhites Hill EN2, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield propose to make the Enfield (Holtwhites Hill EN2) (No.2)(Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order would be to prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on Holtwhites Hill EN2 in two phases:

(i) Phase 1 - between its junction with Chase side to its junction with Monks Road, as and when directed by signage.

(ii) Phase 2 - between its junction with Monks Road to junction with Drapers Road, as and when directed by signage.

3. The prohibitions would come into operation on 25 July 2022 and would continue in force for 30 days or until works are completed.

4. Whilst the prohibitions are in operation the diversion route would be via

(i) Phase 1 - Chase Side, Lavender Hill, Holtwhites Hill and vice versa.

(ii) Phase 2 - Holtwhites Hill, Chase Side, Lavender Hill and vice versa.
