RHOPPIR RHYBUPP fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Conwy wedi gwneud Gorchymyn i wahardd unrhyw un rhag achosi i unrhyw gerbyd deithio ar hyd y rhan honno o Benmachno i Ffordd Cwm Penmachno o'r 30mya ger y fynwent i Deras Westley. Bydd y cyfyngiadau yn cynnwys gostyngiad mewn terfynau cyflymder i 40mya am 100 metr ger y safle a 10mya drwy'r safle. Bydd cyfyngiadau ond mewn grym pan fydd arwyddion 7010.4 yn cael eu harddangos.
Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn rhoi wyneb newydd ar y ffordd. Bydd y llwybr amgen ar hyd Cwm Hafod Rhedwydd, B4407, Ffynnon Eidda, Ysbyty Ifan, Hendre Isaf, A5 a hyd y B4406 sydd heb ei effeithio (Conwy Falls i Benmachno). I'r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sy'n teithio o'r cyfeiriad arall. Defnyddir system gofio lie bynnag bosibl i gynnal mynediad ar gyfer trigolion. Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr a cherbydau'r gwasanaethau brys.
Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 18 Gorffennaf 2022. Disgwylir y bydd y cyfyngiadau'n weithredol am gyfnod o 18 mis, a byddant ond mewn grym pan fydd arwyddion 7010.4 yn cael eu harddangos.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1) Conwv County Borough Council fPenmachno to Cwm Penmachno Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2022

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Conwy County Borough Council have made an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in that length of Penmachno to Cwm Penmachno Road from the 30mph near cemetery to Westley Terrace. Restrictions will include reduced speed limits of 40mph for 100 meters approaching the site and 10mph through the site. Restrictions will only apply when signs 7010.4 are displayed.
The Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. The alternative route will be Cwm Hafod Rhedwydd, B4407, Ffynnon Eidda, Ysbyty Ifan, Hendre Isaf, A5, and the unaffected length of B4406 (Conwy Falls to Penmachno). Vice versa for vehicles travelling int the opposite direction.. A convoy working system will be utilised where possible to maintain access for residents. Access will be maintained for pedestrian and emergency vehicles
The Order comes into effect on 18 July 2022. It is anticipated that the restrictions will be in place for a period of 18 months, and will only apply when signs 7010.4 are displayed.
