The opening will be modified to a single door with an infill panel with vertical timber battens as used elsewhere on the proposal. Removal of west facing gable window in favour of solid wall with vertical timber boarding taken up. Installation of a wood-burning stove and flue. The use of Cotswold stone slates to the east facing roof slope to be sympathetic to the adjacent roof of the carport and the recent re-tiling of the roof on the main house. There are also some minor internal revisions to the layout to provide a bedroom and re-use of bathroom on the ground floor and open plan living area at first floor, including the insertion of a timber staircase.
