Representations must relate to one or more ot the four licensing Objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm. It is an offence, under section 156 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application for a premises licence. A person guilty of an offence Is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level five on the standard scale.
