The County Of Cumbria (Footpath No.103008 In The Parish Of Beaumont) (Temporary Prohibition Of Pedestrians) Order 2012
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Cumbria County Council on 17 August 2012, because of the likelihood of danger to the public as a result of a landslip, which became operative on 30 August 2012, and was subsequently extended and would otherwise expire on 16 August 2022 : has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 16 February 2024, to enable a permanent provision to be brought into effect.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the section of Footpath No.103008 in the Parish of Beaumont from its junction with the U1113, extending in a southerly direction for approx.705 metres. A suitable alternative route for pedestrians will continue to be signed and available via the unrestricted section of footpath no. 103008, the U1111 and U1113 between Kirkandrews and Beaumont.
