Bolton Road, Bradford Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Bolton Road, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to introduce a One Way Traffic Flow on Bolton Road from its junction with Shipley Airedale Road (one-way closure - traffic prohibited outbound only) PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Shipley Airedale Road, Canal Road, Kings Road, Queens Road, Bolton Road (unaffected section) and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect at 19:00 hours on the 17th July 2022 and remain in force until 21:30 hours on the 17th July 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
