Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Jarratt Street East, Bradford Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works proposed to be executed on or near Jarratt Street East, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Jarratt Street East from a point outside No. 31 Jarratt Street East to a point outside No. 32 Jarratt Street East. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Jarratt Street East (unaffected section), Macturk Grove, Jarratt Street, Whetley Lane and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 18th July 2022 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 22nd July 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 7th day of July 2022.
