Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Swine Lane, East Morton Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works proposed to be executed on or near Swine Lane, East Morton intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Swine Lane from its junction with Mayville Avenue to its junction with Bradford Road.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Swine Lane (unaffected section), Carr Lane, Morton Lane, Keighley Road, Bradford Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 19th July 2022 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 29th July 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
