Temporary Closure of Mags Barrow, West Parley

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along MAGS BARROW, WEST PARLEY between New Road and Chine Walk (in both directions), a distance of approximately 125 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 15 August 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 2 September 2022

This Order will enable JDT Utilities agents for SGN, safe access to lay essential gas mains in the highway.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: New Road - Chine Walk.

Temporary Closure of Unnamed Road, Dewlish
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Unnamed Road, Dewlish, between Jocks Hill and Shailes Farm House (in both directions), a distance of approximately 60 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25th July 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 26th August 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out reconstruction and strengthening works on Shailes Farm Culvert.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order
Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981

Dorset Council (Part of Footpath 14, Bradford Peverell at Cheeseman's Cottage) Public Path Diversion Order 2020
On 24 June 2022 Dorset Council confirmed the above-named order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 as unopposed and the Council has certified that work has been carried out to bring the site of the new highway mentioned in article 3 of the order into a fit condition for use by the public. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert part of Footpath 14, Bradford Peverell at Cheeseman's Cottage as shown on the order map as follows:-From the existing path:

The full width of the Footpath from its junction with the D21006 road, west of Cheeseman's Cottage at SY 63889362, north north east through the garden of Cheeseman's Cottage to SY 63889364 and then continuing generally north north east across an orchard to rejoin the unaffected part of Footpath 14 at SY 63909369. To the new path:
From its junction with the D21006 road north west of Cheeseman's Cottage at SY 63849365, north east across a field to SY 6387193695, crossing into a second field and continuing north east to SY 6387593697, then east south east to rejoin the unaffected part of Footpath 14 at SY 63909369. Width: The width of this part of Footpath 14 is 2 metres. Limitation: Field gate at SY 6387193695 to BS5709:2018. The order comes into force on 1 July 2022 but if any person aggrieved by
the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it,
on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended,
or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation
made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she
may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of
Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 7 July 2022, make an application
to the High Court.

Temporary Traffic Management Order Camp Bestival Event
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make a Temporary Traffic Management Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will be in operation from 00.01 hrs on Monday 25 July 2022 till 23.59 hrs on Monday 1 August 2022, a period of 7 days. This Order will allow for the safe management of traffic while the Camp Bestival event takes place at Lulworth Castle, East Lulworth. The effect of this Order is as follows:
[A] From 23.59hrs on Monday 25 July 2022 till 23.59hrs on Monday 1 August 2022, a period of 7 days to:

[1] Impose a one way system (eastbound) upon the B3070 from its junction with un-named side road to the junction with the "Military by-pass", East Lulworth a distance of approximately 120 metres.
[2] Impose a temporary 20 mph speed limit upon the B3070 between the 30 mph speed limit signs either side of the village, a distance of approximately 1,000 metres. [3] Impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit upon the B3070 from Botany Farm westward towards East Lulworth to the deregulation signs, a distance of approximately 700 metres.
[4] Impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit along the "Military Bypass", from its eastern junction at the B3070 to the B3071 (Burngate junction), a distance of approximately 4,000 metres.
[5] Impose a temporary 40mph speed limit on the B3071 from Wool to the junction of the B3070.
[6] Impose a clearway on the B3071 between the existing clearways, Botany Farm to
the junction with Whiteway, a distance of approximately 1700 metres.
[7] Impose a clearway on the B3071 between Burngate junction and the junction with
New Buildings Road, a distance of approximately 3,250 metres.
[8] Impose a clearway on the C48, Coombe Keynes Road between its junction with
the B3071 (The Triangle) and Manor Yard, Shaggs, a distance of approximately
1,100 metres.
[9] Impose a temporary pedestrian prohibition on the B3070 from the White Gates at the entrance to Lulworth Castle to the Burngate junction (B3071), a distance of approximately 2,250 metres.
[10] Impose a temporary 30mph speed limit upon the C48, Coombe Keynes road between the B3071 and the B3070, a distance of 3,800 metres.
[B] Between 07.00hrs on Monday 25 July 2022 and 17.00hrs on Sunday 31 July 2022, a period of 3 days and 10 hours,

[1] Impose a temporary one-way system on New Buildings Road, between Number 6, Burton Cross and the B3071 (one-way southbound), a distance of approximately 2,000 metres.
[C] From 17.00hrs on Sunday 31 July 2022 until 15.00hrs on Monday 1 August 2022, a period of 22 hours, to:

[1] Impose a temporary one-way system on New Buildings Road, between Number 6, Burton Cross and the B3071 (one-way northbound), a distance of approximately 2,000 metres.
[D] From 07.00hrs till 15.00hrs on Monday 25 July 2022, a period of 8 hours, to: [1] Impose a temporary one-way system on Holme Lane, between its junction with West Lane and the B3071 (one way eastbound), a distance of approximately 3,500 metres.

[E] Between 07.00hrs on Thursday 28 July 2022 and 17.00hrs on Sunday 31 July 2022, a period of 3 days and 10 hours,

Temporary Closure of Various Footpaths East Lulworth & Coombe Keynes For Camp Bestival, 2022
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along:
[a] Footpath 4, Coombe Keynes from grid ref. SY 8499 8388 to grid ref. SY 8351 8318, a distance of approximately 2,200 metres;

[b] Footpath 2, East Lulworth, from grid ref. SY 8590 8173 to grid ref. SY 8617 8204, a distance of approximately 360 metres;

[c] Footpath 3, East Lulworth, from grid ref. SY 8541 8185 to grid ref. SY 8577 8201, a distance of approximately 560 metres.

The Order is made to allow the Camp Bestival (music festival) event site to be secured whilst it is established, during the event, and afterwards whilst the site is being dismantled.
The Order will come into operation at 23.59hrs on Sunday 24 July 2022 and will be in place until 23.59hrs on Tuesday 02 August 2022.
Alternative routes will be signposted around the closures of Footpath 4, Coombe Keynes and Footpath 2, East Lulworth using the local highway network. No alternative route will be signed for the closure of Footpath 3, East Lulworth as this footpath leads to the church, which will be closed for the duration of Camp Bestival.
