Parish of Chipstable Temporary Closure of Chipstable Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Chipstable Road - from the junction with Stoneridge Lane to Dunhill Farm Lane. A total distance of 574 metres. This Order will enable Tlu Contracts Ltd to Install 84m of 1 way poly duct in Carriageway. The Order becomes effective on 21st July 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 25th July 2022 and last until 8th August 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 15 days. Please visit
