Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(A449/A450 Black Bridge) (Prohibition of Right Turn) Order 2022

On 23 June 2022 Worcestershire County Council made an Order giving permanent effect to an Experimental Order made on 25 February 2021 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle travelling south west on A450 Black Bridge from turning right onto A449.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 14 July 2022.

(B4190 Welch Gate/B4190 Cleobury Road/B4190 Winbrook, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of B4190 Welch Gate/B4190 Cleobury Road/B4190 Winbrook from its junction with B4194 Dog Lane & B4190 Load Street to its junction with A456 Long Bank roundabout.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4190 Load Street, B4190 Kidderminster Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass, A456 Stourport Road, A456 Bewdley Bypass and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 15 days. Commencing: 30 July 2022.

(C2141 Lincomb Lane, Hartlebury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2141 Lincomb to close that part of C2141 Lincomb Lane from its junction with U40015 Lincomb Bank to its junction with Winnall Lane.
Reason: Broken drainage pipe to be replaced/repaired by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2141 Lincomb Lane, C2141 Lodge Bank, C2142 Bishops Wood Road, A4025 Stourport Road, C2141 Lincomb Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 1 August 2022.

(B4193 Stourport Road, Hartlebury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of B4193 Stourport Road from its junction with U40020 Hillditch Lane to its junction with C2141 Chadwick Lane.
Reason: To facilitate safe working for underground works by Openreach.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4193 Rectory Lane, A449 Worcester Road, C2140 Charlton Lane, B4193 Stourport Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 2 August 2022.

(B4194 High Street, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of B4194 High Street from its junction with B4190 Load Street to its junction with U10500 Lax Lane.
Reason: Replacement and renewal of manhole cover and frame by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(U10231 Venus Bank, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of U10231 Venus Bank from its junction with B4190 Welch Gate for a distance of 65 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Replace/renewal of manhole cover/frame by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U10202 Richmond Road, U10213 Yew Tree Lane, B4190 Cleobury Road, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Welch Gate and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 8 July 2022.

(U11412 Windermere Way (part), Stourport On Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of U11412 Windermere Way from its junction with U11417 Coniston Crescent to its junction with U11426 Bishop Street.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U11412 Windermere Way, A451 Minster Road, B4195 Worcester Street, B4195 Bewdley Road, B4195 Bewdley Road North, U11400 Burlish Crossing, U11412 Windermere Way and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 14 days. Commencing: 28 July 2022.

(U10511 Sandy Bank and U10511 Wyre Hill, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Proposed Order: to close that part of U10511 Sandy Bank and U10511 Wyre Hill from its junction with B4190 Welch Gate to its junction with B4190 Cleobury Road.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Cleobury Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days. Commencing: 1 August 2022.

(C2017 Drayton Road, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of C2017 Drayton Road from its junction with U13605 Woodrow Lane to its junction with the outside of Drayton Mill on C2017 Drayton Road.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Northbound: U13605 Woodrow Lane, C2185 Woodrow Lane, A450 Worcester Road, B4188 Hackmans Gate Lane, C2017 Drayton Road and vice versa Southbound: Vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 14 days. Commencing: 7 July 2022.

(Link footpath F10631 Witley Way linking U11016 Abberley Avenue to B4196 Areley Common, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022

Order made: to close that part of Link Footpath F10631 Witley Way from its junction linking U11016 Abberley Avenue to its junction with B4196 Areley Common service road (between nos. 64a and 66) for its entire length. Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U11016 Abberley Avenue, U11026 Redhouse Road, B4196 Areley Common and vice versa. Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 11 July 2022.

(U12418 Vine Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
Order made: to close that part of U12418 Vine Street to close that part of U12418 Vine Street from its junction with U12417 James Road to its junction with U12401 Hurcott Road.
Reason: Carriageway and Footway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U12417 James Road, U12401 Hurcott Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 11 July 2022.
 
(Wyre Forest District - Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2022 [Provision Of Disabled Persons' Parking Space On Bennett Street, Kidderminster]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to Provide Disabled Persons' Parking on the following length and side of road in Kidderminster:-
Bennett Street (North side): From a point 12 metres, north of Crowther Street, for a distance of 6 metres, in a south westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
