Notice is hereby given Essex County Council is proposing to make the above Orders under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53, 82(1), 82(2), 83(2), 84(1), 84(2), and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. All the following measurements (millimetres/metres) and road length descriptions are approximate.
The effect of the order and other proposals:
A. To introduce 'No Waiting At Any Time' on the following lengths of road in Wickford: Road Description
Nevendon NORTHWEST SIDE: (1) From a point 6 metres northeast of the common Road boundary of Nos. 58/56 Nevendon Road, north-eastwards for 110 metres to existing restrictions near Wickford Fire Station. (2) From a point 5 metres northeast of the common boundary of Nos. 59/61 Nevendon Road, north-eastwards for 40 metres to proposed bus cage road markings at existing bus stop.
SOUTHEAST SIDE: From a point 5 metres northeast of the common boundary of Nos. 59/61 Nevendon Road, north-eastwards for 188 metres to existing restrictions (opposite Wickford Fire Station).
Laburnum NORTHEAST SIDE: From the junction with (j/w) Nevendon Road,
Avenue north-westwards for 21 metres.
SOUTHEAST SIDE: From its j/w Nevendon Road, north-westwards for 15 metres.
This waiting restriction Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019, by substituting tile numbers TQ740 927 and TQ740 930 Rev 1 and TQ745 930 Rev 2 with the next available revision numbers.
B. To install 'Bus Stop' road markings to indicate 'No Stopping Except Buses' at the existing location on Nevendon Road in Wickford: NORTHWEST SIDE: From a point
6 metres northeast of the common boundary of property Nos. 56/58 south-westwards for 23 metres.
C. To Introduce a '20MPH Speed Limit Order' on the entire lengths of the following roads in Wickford:
Albany Road, Albany Road Service Road (also known as rear access to Brockwell Walk), Alma Close, Almond Avenue, Azalea Avenue, Belmont Avenue, Belmont Close, Berry Close, Blyton Close, Bridge House Close, Brockwell Walk, Bromfords Close, Bromfords Drive, Brook Drive, Browning Drive, Burne Avenue, Carroll Gardens, Cedar Avenue, Champion Close, Chaucer Walk, Cross Avenue, Deirdre Avenue, Deirdre Close, Dickens Mews, Donald Thorn Close, Elder Avenue, Elder Way, Farnes Avenue, Finchingfield Way, Friern Gardens, Friern Place, Friern Walk, Fyfield Avenue, Grahame Court, Grange Avenue, Grovelands Road including the 'Rear Access To Durrants Walk/Brockwell Walk' and 'Rear Access To Woodfield', Hendon Close, Hyde Way, Karen Close, Keats Way, Kershaws Close, Kingsley Meadows, Laburnum Avenue, Laburnum Close, Laurel Avenue, Lavender Way, Leasway, Lilac Avenue, Mapleleaf Gardens, Maugham Close, Nesbit Close, Nevendon Road from the junction with (j/w) London Road to Nevendon Road roundabout j/w A132, Nevendon Road from property No's 218 & 229 to j/w the footway located 32 metres south of Browning Drive, North Crescent, Oakhurst Close, Oakhurst Drive, Ozonia Avenue, Ozonia Close, Ozonia Way, Park Close, Park Drive, Pepys Court, Pine Close, Ruskin Path, St Mary's Road, Stevenson Way, Sudbrook Close, Sutcliffe Close, The Briary, The Chase, The Maples (including Halstead Court), The Orchard, The Tithe, Thackeray Row (also known as 'Service Access' to Thackeray Row), Toppesfield Avenue, Trent Close, Trinder Way, Tudor Way, Victor Mew Close, Wick Drive. The roads are currently subject to 30MPH speed limit by virtue of street lighting. Notice is hereby given Essex County Council is proposing to construct 'Raised Tables, Humps, Speed Cushions and Satellite Islands', under Section S90C of the Highways Act 1980, on the following lengths of road in Wickford:

1 - Nevendon WEST SIDE: From a point 2 metres north of the access road Cushions Road (north) to The Nevendon Centre, northwards for 2 metres. EAST SIDE:
From a point approximately 18 metres southwest of its junction with (j/w) Wick Drive, south-westwards for 2 metres.
2 - Table Hyde Way From its j/w Nevendon Road south-eastwards for 4.6 metres.
3 - Table Elder Avenue From a point 3.3 metres west of its j/w Nevendon Road,
westwards for 4.3 metres.

(Church Road, Hockley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Hockley in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 50m south east of its junction with Murrels Lane for a distance of approximately for a distance of approximately 40m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th August 2022 for 1 night (00:01 - 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701SSV-35-08-080722 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while vegetation clearance works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Church Road, Lower Road, Ashingdon Road, West Street, Bradley Way, Southend Road, Southend Road Roundabout, Southend Road, Rochford Road, Harp House Roundabout, Rochford Road, Prince Avenue, Prince Avenue North, Prince Avenue and Nestuda Way Roundabout, Nestuda Way, Nestuda Way And Eastwoodbury Lane Roundabout, Eastwoodbury Lane, Eastwoodbury Lane and Cherry Orchard Roundabout, Cherry Orchard Way, Cherry Orchard Way Roundabout, Cherry Orchard Way, Hall Road Roundabout, Hall Road, Main Road, Folly Lane, Church Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 14th July 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Falbro Crescent, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Falbro Crescent, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 190m south east then south west of its junction with Broomfield for a distance of approximately 30m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st August 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30011356755 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via New Road, Rectory Road, Daws Heath Road, Broomfield and vice versa with access only into Falbro Crescent and Commonhall Lane. The Order will come into effect on 14th July 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(St Andrews Drive, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Andrews Drive, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Stock Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st August 2022 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001157423 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via St Andrews Drive, Norsey Road, Horace Road, Stock Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 14th July 202 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Beeches Road, Rawreth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Beeches Road, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 275m south west of its junction with Highlands Road for a distance of approximately 340m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th July 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA77967198 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Beeches Road, Watery Lane, Hullbridge Road, Rawreth Lane, Chelmsford Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Dry Street, Langdon Hills) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dry Street, Langdon Hills in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 135m northeast of its junction with One Tree Hill for a distance of approximately 40m in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th July 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M46014 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Dry Street, One Tree Hill, Southend Road, Bells Corner Roundabout, Link Road from B1420 and Bells Corner Roundabout to Boundary, Five Bells Road, Five Bells Roundabout South, Five Bells Link Road, Five Bells Roundabout North, Nether Mayne and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The proposed humps/tables are 75 millimetres high maximum. Except for site 6, all the measures will be integrated into the existing pedestrian crossing points on Nevendon Road. Notice is hereby given Essex County Council is proposing to construct 'Satellite Islands', under Section S90C of the Highways Act 1980, on Nevendon Road in Wickford at the following locations:
Site 1 - Nevendon Road: Outside of property No. 25/27.
Site 2 - Nevendon Road: Outside of property No. 76.
Site 3 - Nevendon Road: Outside of property No. 94a.
Site 4 - Nevendon Road: (i) 4 metres northeast of j/w Kershaws Close.
(ii) 23 metres southwest of j/w Kershaws Close.
