LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(11
(VARIOUS ROADS! (NO. 21 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC! ORDER 2022
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate a programme of carriageway resurfacing and general maintenance works to be undertaken in the roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice, they have made an Order, the effect of which, during the works, will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, proceeding or waiting, including in any parking places, in those roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice.
2. Any designated parking place situated in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice will be suspended for the duration of the works in those roads or lengths of roads.
3. The restrictions and suspensions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Alternative routes for diverted traffic will be indicated by advance warning and diversion signs on the roads affected when the works are in progress but will likely be those diversion routes specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this notice.
5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or lengths of roads insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
7. The Order will come into force on Wednesday 13th July 2022 and the anticipated works dates are specified in column 3 of the Schedule to this notice. However, the Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of 12 months and its provisions will be re-introduced should further works be required.
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(11
(HAMILTON ROAD. SW19) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFICl ORDER 2022
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate duct laying and cable pull works to be undertaken in Hamilton Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to: -
(a) enter or proceed in Hamilton Road, between its junction with Merton High Street and its junction with Hamilton Road Mews; or
(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Hamilton Road is a cul-de-sac and a diversion is not required.
6. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
8. The Order would come into operation on Monday 1 st August 2022 with the works anticipated to be completed by Friday 9th September 2022. However, the Order would remain in force for a maximum period of 3 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTIONS 14(11 (CLIFTON ROAD. SW191 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate construction and development works at No. 18 Clifton Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Clifton Road.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Clifton Road, both sides, between the common boundary of Nos. 12 and 18 Clifton Road and the common boundary of Nos. 18 and 20 Clifton Road.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order would come into operation on Friday 15 July 2022 and would remain in force for 12 months.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTIONS 14(1) (BELVEDERE DRIVE, WIMBLEDON HILL ROAD AND WOODSIDE, SW19) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate public realm improvement works in Belvedere Drive, Wimbledon Hill Road and Woodside, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in the said roads and suspend a bus lane in Wimbledon Hill Road.
2. During the works,
3. (a) no person would cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in:-
(i) Belvedere Drive, from its junction with Wimbledon Hill Road northeastward for a distance of 30 metres;
(ii) Woodside, from its junction with Wimbledon Hill Road northeastward for a distance of 30 metres;
(b) no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the roads or lengths of road specified in sub-paragraphs 2(a)(i) and (ii) above and in Wimbledon Hill Road, between its junction with Belvedere Grove and its junction with Woodside;
(c) no person would enter or proceed in the north-eastern footway of Wimbledon Hill Road, which lies between its junction with Belvedere Grove and its junction with Woodside;
(d) the south-eastbound bus lane on the north-east side of Wimbledon Hill Road, between Belvedere Drive and Woodside would be suspended and vehicular traffic prohibited therein.
4. Any designated parking place situated in: -
(a) the length of Belvedere Drive specified in sub-paragraph 2(a)(i) above would be suspended for the duration of the works in Wimbledon Hill Road;
(b) the length of Woodside specified in sub-paragraph 2(a)(ii) above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.
5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
6. The provisions of the Order would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
7. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure in:-
(a) Belvedere Drive, should proceed via Wimbledon Hill Road, Woodside and St Mary's Road or vice-versa;
(b) Woodside, should proceed via Wimbledon Hill Road, Belvedere Drive and St Mary's Road or vice-versa.
8. Pedestrian traffic affected by the works should use the temporary footway provided or the footway opposite.
9. Nothing in sub-paragraphs 2(a) and (b) above would apply to:-
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
9. The Order would come into operation on Friday 15th July 2022 and remain in force for 12 months. It would continue in force the provisions of a notice made under s.14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which would apply, from Monday 11th July 2022, the Wimbledon Hill Road bus lane closure and the Belvedere Drive waiting restriction/parking suspension specified above. It is anticipated that:-
(a) the Wimbledon Hill Road south-eastbound bus lane would be closed to vehicular traffic from 11th July 2022 until 31st December 2022;
(b) the Belvedere Drive waiting restriction/parking suspension would apply from 11th July 2022 until 31st December 2022;
(c) the Woodside road closure/waiting restriction/parking suspension would apply from 15th August 2022 until 9th September 2022, and
(d) the Belvedere Drive road closure would apply from 12th September 2022 until 30th September 2022.
