Northumberland County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14(1) U8289 Whetstone Bridge Road Hexham (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8289 Whetstone Bridge Road from its junction with B6305 heading in a northerly direction for a distance of 260 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 25th July 2022 until the 25th May 2023.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 25th July 2022 until the 3rd September 2022 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:30 (Monday to Thursday) and from 08:00 hours to 13:00 hours (Saturday) during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Hellpool Lane, Leazes Terrace, West Road South, West End Terrace, Allendale Road.
