Application has been made by Waitrose to the Licensing Authority of Reigate & Banstead Borough Council to vary the Premises Licence for the Waitrose Shell, 100 Brighton Road, Burgh Heath, KT20 6AA.The application is to permit the sale of alcohol 24 hours a day allowing for both deliveries and also purchases from the shop. Between the hours of 2300 and 0600 no public access to the shop will be permitted and sales would be made via the "hatch". A copy of the application can be viewed at the Licensing Department, Reigate & Banstead BC, Town Hall, Castlefield Road, Reigate RH2 0SH. The application can be viewed by appointment Monday -Friday 10.00 am to 4.00 pm, except bank holidays.

Any person wishing to make representations in relation to this application must give notice in writing to: Licensing, Reigate & Banstead BC, Town Hall, Castlefield Road, Reigate RH2 0SH, giving in detail the grounds of objection. Representations must be received on or before 01 August 2022. The licensing authority will have regard to any such representation when considering the application. It is an offence for anyone knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with a Licence Application. The maximum fine on summary conviction is unlimited.
