Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Cardinal's Walk, Hampton (Ref: 22/159)


1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames

HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Cardinal's Walk, Hampton.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or exit Cardinal's Walk at its junction with Manor Gardens.

3. The order will come into effect on 18 July 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times between 18 July 2022 and 21 July 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route or vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Manor Gardens, Ormond Drive and Cardinal's Walk

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Latchmere Lane, Ham (Ref: 22/152)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Latchmere Lane, Ham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Latchmere Lane between its junctions with Church Road and Ham Ridings.

3. The order will come into effect on 11 July 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress 09.30 and 15.30 on 11 July 2022 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be affected available via Latchmere Lane, Church Road, A307, Tudor Drive, Garth Road, Cowper Road and Ham Ridings.

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water pipe repair they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Old Palace Lane, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Old Palace Lane and a point 20 metres southwest of that junction.

3. The order will come into effect on 13 July 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times between 13 July 2022 and 14 July 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The principal objective of the Disabled Persons' Parking Places

Order is to introduce a disabled persons' parking bay on the south-western side of Medway, south-west of the bridge over the river Crane, replacing the existing WT shared use bay.
3. The effect of the Parking Places Order is to revoke the length of shared use bay in Meadway which is being replaced by the disabled persons' parking bay.

4. Copies of further particulars giving further details of the proposals: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 22/158 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

5. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 23 Highways Act 1980 - Section 90c Raised Crossing Meadway, Twickenham

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames proposes to install a raised zebra crossing in Meadway, Twickenham.

2. The controlled area of the crossing will be sited from a point 3 metres north-west of the south-eastern boundary of No. 2 Melbourne Court extending for some 36 metres south-eastwards. The table will be sited some 9 metres south-east of the south­eastern boundary of No. 2 Melbourne Court, with a length, including ramps of 9.80 metres. The ramps will have a 1:20 gradient.

3. A drawing showing the proposed design will be available for public inspection for a period of 21 days from the date of this notice, quoting reference 22/157 at: -

(a) the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; or

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

4. Any comments regarding the proposals should be sent within
