Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U90412, Point Pitch, Woonton, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U90412, Point Pitch, Woonton, between the A480 junction and the junction with the Lane from Bromford Bromage Farm to The Batch Cottages. Grid Ret 335416/252270. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A480 onto the Lane from Bromford Bromage Farm to The Batch Cottages and vice versa. The said closure is required due to rural fibre installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th of August 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 9 days.
