SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Springfield Drive (Part), Calne; from its junction with Curzon Street for a distance of approximately 55m in a northerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out a section 81 manhole cover replacement. Alternative route via Curzon Street - Greenacres Way - Woodsage Way - Springfield Drive (unaffected length) and vice versa. B) The Werg (Part), Mildenhall; from outside its property known as Hernshaw for a distance of approximately 200m in a southerly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out upgrades to electricity supply and associated works. Alternative route via The Werg (unaffected length) - Cock a Troop Lane - Chopping Knife Lane - Sound Corpe Lane - Ramsbury Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 August 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 16:30 until 12 August 2022. F) Gladstone Road (Part), Chippenham; from its junction with A4 to its junction with the entrance to Borough Parade Shopping Centre car park to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route C) via A4 - A350 - A420 and vice versa. Alternative route D) via New Road - A420 - A350 - A4 and vice versa. No alternative route is available for route E. Alternative route F) via Gladstone Road (unaffected length) -Wood Lane - Burlands Road - The Causeway - Avenue Le Fleche and vice versa.. This Order will come into operation on 01 August 2022 and the closures will be required the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 on weeknights until 27 August 2022. Alternative route via Crookwood Lane (unaffected length) - B3098 - C20 - A360 -Stroud Lane - Crookwood Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. K) C76 (Part), Tockenham; from outside property known as No.2 Tockenham Wick for approximately 250m in a southerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out highway drainage improvement works. Alternative route via C76 (unaffected length), The Hillocks, Trow Lane, Sodom Lane, Cheesley Hill, C76 (unaffected length) and vice versa. Orders A) to K) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to temporarily introduce a prohibition of right hand turn on: A) A350 (Northbound), Chippenham; from A350 (Northbound) onto Access Road to Site Compound; B) Access Road to Site Compound, Chippenham; from Access Road to Site Compound onto A350 (Northbound) to enable Baylis Estates to carry out construction of new roundabout access to new industrial estate and associated works. The prohibition of turn will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This restriction which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 11 July 2022 and is anticipated to be required until 30 June 2023. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order, in the interests of safety, to temporarily suspend the existing 18T weight restriction and to introduce a 7.5T weight restriction, except for access, on the following length of road:
B4069 (Part), Christian Malford, Dauntsey, Lyneham and Bradenstoke and Sutton Benger; from its junction with B4122 at Draycot, Sutton Benger, for a distance of approximately 6.5 miles (10.5km) to its junction with A3102, Lyneham. The weight restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 11 July 2022 and is anticipated to be required for 18 months. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
