Extraction of 6.5 million tonnes of sand and gravel (from Site A7 as identified in the Essex Minerals Local Plan 2014) including the retention of the existing access onto the A120, the processing plant (including sand and gravel washing plant), office and weighbridge, ready mix concrete plant, bagging unit, DSM plant, water and silt management systems. In addition, extension of the internal haul road into Site A7 and access for private and support vehicles to the Site A7 contractors' compound via Woodhouse Lane and Cuthedge Lane. Restoration of Site A7 to agriculture and biodiversity (species rich grassland and wetland), Bradwell Quarry, Church Road, Bradwell, CM77 8EP, and land south of Cuthedge Lane - ESS/12/20/BTE
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has granted the above planning application.
The Environmental Information accompanying the application has been taken into account in reaching this decision.

(Albert Road, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Albert Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 100m south of its junction with Coggeshall Road for a distance of approximately 110m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th July 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30046687082 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Manor Street, Trinovantian Way, Railway Street, Coggeshall Road and vice versa (with access into Albert Road only). (Forest Road, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Forest Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Rickstones Road to its junction with Cypress Road a distance of approximately 1200m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th July 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2328684 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Rickstones Road, Braintree Road, Cypress Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 7th July 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Plums Lane, Bardfield Saling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Plums Lane, Bardfield Saling in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 160m south west of its junction with Bardfield Road for a distance of approximately 245m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th July 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WD6V0K6JTB - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by Openreach.

The Order will come into effect on 7th July 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Terling Road, Hatfield Peverel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Terling Road, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 1080m south east of its junction with Witham Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th July 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30028502281 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

(The Green, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (The Causeway/The Green/Bridge Street/Brent Hall Road & The Green, Finchingfield) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of The Green, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Sunnyside to its junction with The Causeway a distance of approximately 40m.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in that length of The Causeway, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with The Green for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction, and from its junction with Church Hill for a distance of approximately 55m in northerly direction.

3. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in that length of The Green, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with The Causeway to its junction with Church Hill a distance of approximately 45m.

4. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in that length of Bridge Street, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with The Green to its junction with Church Hill a distance of approximately 70m.

5. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in that length of Brent Hall Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Green Road to its junction with The Green a distance of approximately 60m.

6. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in that length of The Green, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Brent Hall Road to its junction with Bardfield Road a distance of approximately 95m.

"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/restrictions are scheduled to commence on 16th July 2022 for 2 days and again 23rd July 2022 for 2 days (weekends only), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003513 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/ restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while ground investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Brent Hall Road, Sampford Road, Hawkins Hill, Finchingfield Road, Hill Road, High Street, Moor End Road, Anso Road, Bumpstead Road, Hempstead Road, Water Lane, Church Street, Old Hall Road, Eggshell Lane, Cornish Hall End, Little London Hill, Howe Street, Duck End, The Causeway and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 23rd June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Halstead Road, Colne Engaine) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Halstead Road, Colne Engaine in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 960m north west then west of its junction with Station Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a westerly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th July 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03159766242/3 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stoptap replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water An alternative route is available via Station Road, Elms Hall Road, Halstead Road, Stonebridge Hill, Parley Beams, Colchester Road, Fenn Road and vice versa with access only into Halstead Road and Brook Street.
The Order came into effect on 23rd June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Kentish Farm Road, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kentish Farm Road, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from its junction with White House Road for a distance of approximately 455m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th July 2022 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT001-E-HHGABE - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Boultwood Farm Road, Rayne Hatch Wood Road, Halstead Road, High Garrett, Lyons Hall Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 23rd June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Peg Millars Lane, Fairstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Peg Millars Lane, Fairstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Fairstead Road to its junction with Troys Lane a distance of approximately 1465m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th July 2022 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT010-E-TERLING - Gigaclear Ltd).
