ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Latchmere Lane, Ham
(Ref: 22/152)


1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Latchmere Lane, Ham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Latchmere Lane between its junctions with Church Road and Ham Ridings.

3. The order will come into effect on 11 July 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress 09.30 and 15.30 on 11 July 2022 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be affected available via Latchmere Lane, Church Road, A307, Tudor Drive, Garth Road, Cowper Road and Ham Ridings.

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Old Palace Lane, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water pipe repair they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Old Palace Lane, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Old Palace Lane and a point 20 metres southwest of that junction.

3. The order will come into effect on 13 July 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times between 13 July 2022 and 14 July 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

Temporary Road Closure Brewers Lane, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Brewers Lane, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Brewers Lane between its junction with George Street and a point outside the south-eastern boundary of No. 3 Brewers Lane.

3. The order will come into effect on 6 July 2022. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times between 6 July 2022 and 8 July 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be affected available via Richmond Green and Duke Street.

5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (MAJOR EVENTS, HAMPTON COURT PALACE) (PRESCRIBED ROUTES AND WAITING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2011

1. Notice is hereby given that owing to a major event taking place at Hampton Court Palace, namely the Hampton Court Garden Festival, the provisions of The London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames (Major Events, Hampton Court Palace) (Prescribed Routes and Waiting and Stopping Restrictions) Order 2011 shall be in effect.

2. The measures which are continued in force by this order are certain banned turns into and out of temporary car parks along Hampton Court Road and "no stopping" and "no waiting" restrictions along Hampton Court Road from Kingston Bridge to Church Road, Hampton. The banned turns and other restrictions will be in force on days when major events are held at Hampton Court Palace, including the annual flower show in July.

3. The restrictions provided by this order will be enforced during the Hampton Court Garden Festival 2022, which will be held between 4 July and 9 July, both dates being inclusive.

Temporary Restrictions Evelyn Road, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate development works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary restriction of traffic in Evelyn Road, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place, two-way working will be permitted in Evelyn Road between its junction with Kew Foot Road and the entrance to the Richmond Royal Hospital site.

3. The order will come into effect on 4 July 2022. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 4 July 2022 until 3 January 2023 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
