Highways Act 1980 Section 119, Herefordshire Council, Footpath DH8 (Part) and Bridleway DH7 (Part) Docklow, Public Path Diversion Order 2021

On 8* June, 2022 Herefordshire Council ("the Council") confirmed the above Order under section 119 Highways Act 1980 ("the Act").
The effect of the order, as confirmed, is to divert those parts of Public Footpath DH8 and Public Bridleway DH7 in the Parish of Docklow as follows: The existing route of footpath DH8 runs from OS Grid Reference SO 5569, 5685 to OS Grid Reference SO 5559, 5655. The existing route of bridleway DH7 runs from OS Grid Reference SO 5563, 5686 to OS Grid Reference SO 5571, 5686.
Alternative paths will be created as a replacement as follows:
The proposed new route of footpath DH8 being 2 metres in width runs from OS Grid Reference SO 5550, 5685 to OS Grid Reference SO 5559, 5655.
The proposed new route of bridleway DH7 being 3 metres In width runs from OS Grid Reference SO 5563, 5686 to OS Grid Reference SO 5571, 5686.

The Council confirms and certifies that all the provisions of the order have been satisfied and therefore the diversion takes effect on the above said confirmation date of this order, but, If any person aggrieved by the order desires to question Its validity or that of any provision contained in It on the ground that it Is not within the powers of the Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or any regulation made under It has not been complied with In relation to the confirmation of the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act, as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of publication of this notice, make an application to the High Court.
