(Belmont, Carrville & Ghesgate) (Parking & Waiting Restrictions) Order 2013 (Amendment No. 1) Order 2022
The Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 & 4 & Part IV of Sch. 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, its effect being To introduce 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions on: a. Both sides of Grinstead Way from its junction with High Street for a distance of 30 metres in a south-easterly direction b. The eastern side of High Street starting from a point 10 metres southwest of its junction with Grinstead Way for a distance of 45 metres in a north-easterly direction c. Both sides of Wantage Road from its junction with Broomside Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a north-westerly direction d. Northern side of Broomside Lane from at a point 10 metres southwest of its junction with Wantage Road for a distance of 54 metres in a north eastly direction.
To extend the existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions on Fallsway for a length of 4 metres in a southwest direction from the end of existing restrictions. To amend the existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions to include: a. Both sides of Devonshire Road from its junction with Buckinghamshire Road for a distance of 17 metres in a westerly direction b. The western side of Buckinghamshire Road starting from a point 6 metres south of its junction with Devonshire Road for a distance of 56 metres in a northerly direction. A copy of the draft Order and supporting documents may be inspected at Belmont Library during normal opening hours and via the Council website.
