(C87, Edmundbyers, Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 24/6/2022 made the above Older under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 2800 metre length of C87, Edmundbuyers, Durham, from the B6278 Junction to the Unc 10.3 Land Head Junctionto enable Northumbrian Water sewer replacement works to be undertaken. An alternative route is will be available to vehicular traffic from the west side of the closure, north west on the B6278, then south on Unc 10.3 at Eddis Bridge, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence at 8am on 4/7/2022 and are anticipated to be completed in 21 Weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
