(Swimming Pool Brae, Peebles) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2022
The Scottish Borders Council (Swimming Pool Brae, Peebles) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2022 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 00:01 on 3 July 2022 and is expected to remain in effect until 20 August 2022 - 24 hour closure. The Order is required due to a fire at the swimming pool. When the Order comes into effect:
|a) no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Swimming Pool Brae, Peebles from the swimming pool to Tweed Bridge. The alternative route for westbound traffic is via Tweed Bridge, Cuddy Bridge, Greenside and Old Town Vennel; and lb) the Scottish Borders Council (Various Streets, Peebles) (Regulation of Traffic) Order 2000, as amended, will be further amended as follows: the One Way Order on Old Town Vennel, Peebles, from the swimming pool car park to Greenside, will be revoked for the duration of the above road closure.
